Robert M. Pascucci, P.E., President
Mr. Pascucci is a Professional Engineer, Attorney At Law, and Licensed Real Estate Broker. In addition to being President of JMI Management, Mr. Pascucci is also president of Jobco Incorporated, an affiliated company of JMI. He is a graduate of Worcester Polytechnic Institute and St. John’s University, School of Law. Mr. Pascucci’s professional affiliations include the American Bar Association, the National Society of Professional Engineers, the American Society of Civil Engineers, and the World Presidents Organization. Mr. Pascucci is a member of the Green Vale School Board of Trustees, the World Presidents Organization, Metro (NY) Chapter Board of Directors, the Nassau County AHRC Foundation Board, the Madison Square Boys & Girls Club Bronx Board of Managers, and the Glen Cove Boys & Girls Club Board of Managers. With Jobco since 1980, Mr. Pascucci has been the driving force behind the company’s significant expansion and growth as one of the leading construction, development and real estate management firms in the Northeast. Mr. Pascucci maintains a personal presence with clients by continuing to oversee all aspects of construction, as well as development and residential property management operations.
Carmela Vallone, Controller
Ms. Vallone is the Controller at JMI. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Pace University. Ms. Vallone was previously a Senior Accountant at Marden, Harrison and Kreuter, CPAs, in White Plains, New York. Among her duties were preparation of corporate tax returns, preparation/analysis of financial statements and job cost schedules. Her expertise included audits, reviews, and compilations of construction contractors, real estate entities, and HUD projects. At Jobco, Carmela is a full-charge controller, overseeing the financial operations of all related entities.
Karen Chu, Assistant Property Manager
Karen Chu joined the JMI team in 2013 and has received the designation “Certified Assisted Housing Manager” from the National Center for Housing Management. Ms. Chu is involved in all aspects of lease administration following HUD regulations with regards to subsidized housing occupancy, recertifications, and EIV and MOR inspections. She provides customer service and communication with residents, and also communicates with HUD submitting monthly vouchers and annual rent increase (OCAF) paperwork. Ms. Chu is a graduate of Queens College and a valued member of our organization.
Maria Tappeto, Senior Property Manager
Since joining the organization, Ms. Tappeto has worked in both commercial and residential property management. Currently, she is Senior Property Manager and involved in all phases of residential property management. Ms. Tappeto graduated with a bachelor’s degree from the City University of New York at Queens College. In addition, she has earned the following certifications: Certified Assisted Housing Manager – AHM (Quadel Consulting); Certified Credit Compliance Professional – C3P (Spectrum); Tax Credit Specialist (National Center for Housing Management); and Public Housing Management – PHM (Nan McKay & Associates).
Carmela Siragusa, Property Manager
Carmela Siragusa joined the JMI team in 2004 and has fulfilled various roles since that time. She has worked her way to Property Manager, becoming knowledgeable in all aspects of property management, and has received the designation “Certified Housing Specialist” from the National Center for Housing Management. Ms. Siragusa is a professional, courteous and valuable member of our organization.
Matthew Pascucci, Property Manager
Matthew Pascucci joined the JMI team in December 2010. Mr. Pascucci received an Assisted Housing Manager certification from Quadel Consulting and a Tax Credit Specialist certification from the National Center for Housing Management, he also holds a Bachelors of Fine Arts. Mr. Pascucci is a valuable member of our organization. His responsibilities at JMI include resident recertification and new resident interviews, conducting resident communications to ensure residents’ concerns are addressed, vendor communications to ensure they are called to the property when needed, compliance monitoring of the properties for New York State, resident legal relations, accounting overview and conducting site visits to the properties.
